My Evening Routine: How I Set Myself Up for Successful Days (Free Printable)

As a woman with ADHD it is important for me to get a good night’s sleep and plan out the things I need to do for the morning. The less you do in the morning, the more likely you will be able to get your other tasks done.  My evening routine involves the following steps

Lay out my clothes for the next day including underwear, sock and shoes

Create a launch pad. This is a place where I put items that I need for the next day. Some of my items include cell phone, purse, coat, umbrella, a grocery list, or dry-cleaning receipts.

Get breakfast ready I fill my coffee pot and set it while I am getting dressed.  I put my favorite boss lady coffee cup next to the coffee pot. If I do not have a busy day, I put out the items that I want to eat for breakfast.

Make A Lunch- If I have a busy day running errands or going to appointments, I make a sandwich or put a salad in an airtight container. This way I will be able to stay focused and wont get the afternoon blahs

Turn off your electronics – Turning off the computer and TV and put your cell phone down before bedtime, wakes up your ADHD brain instead of preparing it to go to sleep

Take a hot bath or shower If you take a bath or shower before you go to bed it gradually lowers your body temperature and helps induce sleep
